Employer Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Welcome to Gradus! By signing up as an employer and accessing the Gradus platform, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline your rights and responsibilities when using our platform to view, shortlist, and hire graduates.

1. Overview

Gradus provides employers access to pre-vetted graduate talent through a subscription-based platform. By subscribing, you can browse graduate interviews and profiles. A $3,000 fee is charged per successful hire in addition to the monthly subscription fee.

2. Subscription and Payments

  • Monthly Access Fee: $500 (AUD), charged automatically every 30 days. Discounted plans for longer terms.

  • Pay-Per-Hire Fee: $3,000 (AUD) per successful hire, invoiced upon candidate acceptance.

  • Payment Methods: Payments are processed via credit/debit card or direct bank transfer.

  • No Locked Contracts: Cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

3. Employer Account and Usage

  • Account Setup: Each subscription includes up to 5 user accounts under the employer’s organisation. Additional accounts can be arranged upon request.

  • Access to Graduates: Employers can view and shortlist candidates but cannot download or distribute graduate videos or profiles outside the platform.

  • Non-Transferable: Your account is for your organisation’s use only and cannot be shared with third parties.

4. Hiring Process and Fees

  • Per-Hire Fee Obligation: The $3,000 fee applies to each graduate you hire through the platform. This includes direct hires, contract positions, and part-time engagements.

  • Definition of a Hire: A hire occurs when a candidate accepts a formal offer from the employer.

  • Non-Circumvention: Employers agree not to engage with candidates outside the Gradus platform to bypass the per-hire fee. Circumvention will result in immediate termination of access and legal action if necessary.

5. Candidate Availability

  • Gradus makes every effort to ensure the availability of listed graduates, but we cannot guarantee that a specific candidate will remain on the platform until hired.

  • Candidates may be removed from the platform after being hired by other employers or after 6 months of inactivity.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Refund Policy: Gradus does not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service or unused platform access.

  • Hire Fee Refunds: The $3,000 hire fee is non-refundable once the candidate has accepted an offer.

7. Fair Use and Compliance

  • Employers must adhere to fair hiring practices and comply with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

  • Any misuse of the platform, including harassment of candidates or false job postings, will result in immediate suspension of access.

8. Platform Availability

  • Gradus strives to maintain 99% uptime but may conduct maintenance or experience outages. We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Gradus provides candidate profiles as-is and makes no guarantees regarding candidate performance or long-term employment outcomes.

  • Employers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before extending offers to graduates.

  • Gradus is not liable for any hiring decisions or disputes arising from employment agreements between employers and graduates.

10. Changes to Terms

Gradus reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Employers will be notified of significant changes 14 days in advance. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Australia.
